Making boxes for my daughters is why I got back into making and woodworking. This 3 hr class is an entry-level Saturday time designed towards beginner and intermediate woodworkers. In this class, you will use a wide variety of machines and tools commonly used in the woodshop to construct a beautiful and elegant hinged-lid box. You will get hands-on experience with milling rough lumber, using the table saw for ripping and crosscutting.
Together we will assemble the box, learning proper glue-up procedures, cornering and edging, hinge installation and finish sanding, leaving you a gorgeous, finished box!
This class will focus heavily on woodshop safety and proper usage of most of the machines in our shop.
